Yoga

Background and Essence
My yoga practice has helped me grow stronger, more flexible, and less fearful - both on and off the mat. Yoga inspires me to live each moment more mindfully.

I received my yoga teacher training through New Yoga Now in Savannah, GA. Their programs are primarily based on the discipline of Vinyasa Yoga. The history of yoga and how to apply its ancient wisdom to the contemporary western world in a useful and understandable way is an important aspect of training. Yoga is a place of discovery and connection. I continue to be curious with my education in different styles and disciplines - for inspiration and to encourage my students. The practice is a lifelong journey. I am deeply grateful for the loving wisdom my teachers share with me.

As with other services, I make safety a priority. I lead classes so they are accessible to most levels of students. I offer guidance for the use of proper breath and alignment. I combine creative sequencing, an air of playfulness, and plenty of inspiration.

Class becomes a place of caring for self in the spirit of love and community. The hope is for everyone to step off of the mat feeling refreshed, nourished, and balanced.

Connecting with your inner self and your true nature is a worthwhile practice.
